DRNI is delighted to announce that our Early Career Researcher Day is taking place on Tuesday, 4 March 2025 in the Centre for Public Health, Queen's University Belfast. 

This is an in-person event, and will also be live-streamed. It is a free event and open to all!

Presentation applications

DRNI welcomes applications for oral and poster presentations. All application abstracts should be no longer than 150 words, and use headings such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion. All applications must be made under one of three themes: 

Theme 1: Dementia risk reduction and prevention

Theme 2: The lived experience of dementia

Theme 3: Diagnostics, therapeutics and improving quality of life in dementia

As part of DRNI's commitment to Person and Public Involvement (PPI) in research, we will be awarding a prize for PPI engagement at the event. If you would like to be considered for this prize, there is additional space on the registration form to outline how your research incorporates PPI (world limit 75 words). 

The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, 31 January 2025.
