DNNI (Dementia and Neurodegeneration Network Ireland), in collaboration with Creative Aging International and other partners hosted Headspace2018 on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th April 2018 in Trinity College Dublin.

A culture change is required to alter the way in which academic researchers and universities interact with the public and the groups they research, to change the manner in which research is shared with, and directed by, the public. The Headspace2018 event included engaging and interactive debates and discussions on all aspects of dementia & neurodegeneration research by national and international speakers. Topics such as social issues, interventions and clinical practice, brain health and ethical considerations were discussed.

More presentations from the 2 day event will be available soon.
