From Sep 2021 - April 2022, DRNI will be hosting a webinar series, Hot Topics In Dementia Research. 

Speakers' presentations will be made available here following the webinars. To date, we have the following presentations:

  • Lewy Body Disorders: Monday 27th September. Find attached presentations delivered by Prof. Iracema Leroi, Associate Professor of Geriatric Psychiatry, Trinity College Dublin/ St. James's Hospital and Caoimhe Tyndall, Irish research Council PhD Scholar, Harkin Lab, Trinity College Dublin. 
  • Alzheimer's Disease: Monday 18th October.  Find attached presentations delivered by: (i) Seán Dónal O'Shea on a research project he conducted titled 'Some Dance to Remember: Exploring the Psychosocial Effects of the Introduction of an Adaptive Irish Céilí Dance Group Activity with People Living with Dementia and their Carers'; (ii) Prof. Brian Lawlor on Findings from Secondary Analyses of NILVAD: Implications for Clinical Practice and Research in Alzheimer's Disease
